These images include common tools used for Octopus steps and are the recommended images to use when setting up execution containers for workers.
For an Octopus deployment step running on a worker or the Octopus Server, you can select a container for the step's execution.
Pick an image that is suitable for your needs based on OS + distribution.

The images we publish have multiple release tracks, and are semantically versioned. To ensure stability within your deployment processes, we recommend using the full major.minor.patch tag when using the octopusdeploy/worker-tools image - for example, use 6.6.0-ubuntu.24.04, not ubuntu.24.04, unless you have a particular use-case that is more tolerant of changes.
